Undermining Islam

For the conservative readers out there, this will come as no surprise, but our liberal friends might find it a bit of a shock. You see, the current war in Iraq is part of a much larger war between Christianity and Islam. Christianity, the religion of freedom and goodness, has been threatened by the Freedom-hating evil religion of the Muhammedan Terrorists, and the West's only chance for survival is the destruction of Islam.

President Bush, in his great wisdom, has taken a two-pronged approach to reach this end. Firstly, direct combat against the terrorists, killing or imprisoning them one by one. This is a basic and practical course of action, but it will not win the war, only aid it.

Bush's second goal in this War against Islam is political. By enforcing democracy into Muslim states he undermines the authority of religion and creates a Christian created orthodoxy into the heart of their culture: democracy. Unlike Christianity, which cherishes freedom, the Moor believes in complete slavery to a co-religious and political power who makes false claims to authority from above. It is the core of their religious persuasion. By opening up their minds to the idea that they can create their own governments and their own destiny, it will weaken their dependence upon the Allah Satan and open up their hearts to Jesus Christ.

A war for freeing people is one thing. Calling this a war against Islam is a mistake. You are going to stir a lot of pots that I don't even want to get into. There is a difference between Islam, and what the terrorists believe. They aren't the same thing.

Do some more research, and I'll frequent this site more often.

I do not write this blog for you. If you don't want to come here, fine! No skin off my nose. This blog is written for the people who understand that this is a religious war. War against Islam and War for Freedom are synonymous. Islam means submission, there is no freedom in submission.

Freedom is freedom. We want people to have the freedom to believe whatever they want, to do whatever they want, etc. You saying that we are eliminating what people can and can not believe is not freedom, but just another restriction. Don't you think?

And don't get so offended by my comment. I actually like reading what I have thus far. Just like to see some factual backing behind it.

We cannot force people what to believe. Therein lies the problem. If we could, well the world would be a wonderful place. However, a thing like Islam, started in war, bred in war, dealing with war and jihad and all those lovely things, is dangerous when it is in the hands of tyrannistical governments who wish to see the death of everyone who is not like them. We need to stamp out the governments which breed hate into Islam, and perhaps later overhaul the whole thing, update the Koran and stuff, make it more modern and not dealing with things that happened so long ago. Make some new hadiths or something.

You can't use the same logic to defend your ideas that your ideals are against. You can't say this is to bring freedom to people by telling them what to do.

And Bush is not bringing Christianity into the middle east. He's bringing Democracy. Democracy was around in Greece, they founded it. It was slightly different than what we have today, more of a Congressional thing, rather than 3 Branches. Christianity didn't come into a recognized idea until after Jesus died. (Later than that, really, but we'll just round it out). So to say that Democracy is a "Christian created orthodoxy" is like calling the airplane a "Caveman created novelty".

You do have a few good points, like...liberals will be shocked....but not exactly for the same reason as you'd think.

harrison is correct--democracy is actually a PAGAN invention. and the submission in islam means submission to G-d, which is something that christians subscribe to as well. you did surprise me though....ill give you that.
